Bertie

Bertie is a 3 year old  Posavac Hound

This active, friendly boy can at first be wary of strangers, usually those in heavily padded coats and woolly hats. This we think could be down to abuse and rough treatment he suffered in his homeland as Hunting hounds are known to suffer an extremely cruel and harsh existence, suffering extreme temperatures and starved of regular contact and food. 

All that said Bertie is a very happy and friendly boy who loves to stride out, nose to the ground, around the lanes of JFD. 

Bertie will thrive in a home where lots of exercise is the norm. Because of his suspicion of strangers perhaps a home where there are minimal visitors would suit Bertie best.
