Fundraising

As well as staging fundraising events at the kennels and Fun Dog Shows throughout Derbyshire in the summer months Just For Dogs are always interested in new fundraising ideas and events. We are always looking for people to bake and sell cakes, help with street and store collections, organise or help to run a stall at our events, sell raffle tickets or to stage a fundraising event on our behalf.

JOIN OUR VOLUNTARY EVENTS TEAM

If you would like to become part of our Events Team to help organise and assist in the running of events at the centre, with street and store collections and local community events then please do call or email us, you will be made to feel most welcome.  Not only do these events raise vital funds but importantly they help promote the work we do – an ability to wax lyrical about our dogs is an advantage but not essential!

CAKE BAKING & HOMEMADE PRODUCE

If you can’t ‘help out on the day’ but can contribute towards an event by baking cakes or donating some homemade jam, marmalade or wine please drop us an email, we can then add your name to our ‘supporters’  list and contact you before an upcoming event.

QUALITY GOODS, CLOTHES, GIFTS AND BOOKS FOR OUR STALLS

We are always in need of nearly new or quality second-hand items and books in good condition to sell at our events. These donations can be dropped off at JFD between 9am and 11am, any morning including weekends.

FROM RAGS TO RICHES

Any used clothing that is not good enough to sell can be placed in our rag-man bin! Drop it off at JFD in a bag clearly marked ‘RAGS’ and we will turn it in to ‘pounds for our hounds‘! Drop off at JFD between 9am and 11am, any morning including weekends.

BRIC A BRAC SORTERS

Do you have an eye for a bargain and can spare a couple of hours per week to sort through our donated goods ready for selling at our events. Please add your name to our list and help us turn ‘old to gold’ to help our ‘Best Buddies’! Who knows, we could be sitting on a fortune!
