The children wanted a puppy. A Labrador they said. They chose Rex and life was good. The novelty soon wore off, the kids got bored, the dog became an inconvenience. We’ll build a kennel they said and life for Rex was no longer good.
The bottom of the garden was where he stayed, for the next nine years. Never walked, given food when ‘they’ thought about, until even that became an inconvenience.

Rex. You adorable, amazing beautiful, loving boy. Your soulmate or loving responsible family is out there waiting for you somewhere, to give you the life you never even dreamed was possible!
Life’s for living Rex and you my darling boy are going to live it, of that I can promise. Ideally he is looking for a pet free home but can live with children – he is adorable!

Rex would love to meet you and can be viewed and walked any morning (including Saturday & Sunday) between the hours of 9-11am at the JFD rehoming centre, Brailsford, Ashbourne, Derbyshire DE6 3BE
