Give Harry Potter a Loving Home - Just For Dogs Rescue

INTRODUCING THE ADORABLE MASTER HARRY POTTER

I guess it’s fair to say that this little fella has had a somewhat chequered history!

After being adopted as a young dog from a ‘rescue’ (it’s thought he originated from a puppy farm) Harry felt very fortunate that his four paws had landed on such wonderfully kind and loving territory.

However, his streak of good fortune ‘stumbled’ a little when, at just three years old, he was diagnosed with bone cancer and had to have a hind leg removed.

But, as the saying goes, ‘you can’t keep a good man down’ and little Harry continued to happily skip through life until he was approximately 8 years old when he was struck down with an illness resulting in his spleen having to be removed!

If the fickle hand of fate thought this would be the end of Harry it hadn’t bargained for his indomitable fighting spirit, as Harry, once more, picked himself up, dusted himself off and started all over again!!

Fast forward now to 2017 which sadly has seen Harry witness first-hand the separation of his mum and dad. He has, along with his mum, moved from the security of the home he has always known and loved into shared accommodation where he is having to be left alone in each day for hours at a time, as his mum now has to work longer hours to make ends meet. This latest saga in this amazing boys life has had a profound affect on him and Harry is not coping at all. His mum tells us that Harry appears very unhappy, depressed even and that it breaks her heart to see him so uncharacteristically sad.

Despite the ups and downs in his life Harry has been incredibly well cared for and very much loved and the easiest thing for his owner to do would be to continue on in the hope that Harry will adjust, as he always has done in the past but, even if he does adjust, it still would not alter the fact that Harry must spend each and every long day on his own something he has never been used to before. For this reason and for Harry’s sake alone, she has made the most heart-breaking decision to let Harry go in order for him to find a loving home with someone who has the luxury of time on their hands, precious time that can be devoted to Harry. After all he deserves nothing less…
