Bella & Ella – REHOMED
Bella & Ella Rehomed!
Got to be honest we were beginning to think the day would never come for our beautiful sisters Bella & Ella and We certainly didn’t dare to dream it would happen on the same day and into the same home to such a lovely couple.
Following our Bella & Ella Appeal , back in early March, Karen and Steve paid us a visit to look around in general but mainly to focus on the sisters. Seeing beyond their terrified expressions (always heightened when strangers were around) they said they would like to get to know them a little better. Several weeks and hours upon hours of visiting later, most of which was spent quietly in the utility room interspersed with time out on the paddock, it was clear this meeting of minds was only ever going to go one way.
Last Saturday, 3 weeks after the initial introduction and realising no more progress would be made in our kennel environment Karen said ‘I think we’re ready to take them tomorrow’ and although this was music to our ears it is always such a bitter sweet moment. Having looked after, loved, felt sad for and cared for such beautiful and gentle souls such as these two it’s hard not to be just a little bit sad that they are leaving us.
The girls have been in their new home now for just one week and the progress that has been made is quite remarkable, the transition into domesticated bliss, quite simply, could not have gone better…
Dearest Bella & Ella, we are so happy that at last you have been given the chance to blossom and shine and that you will soon begin to realise that our world is not the cruel and evil place that, through experience, you believe it to be.
Here’s wishing you both the longest and happiest of lives
